CLeaR CReeK with Madi, her 5th grade ClaSS & Ms. Mitchell

Lauren Smith, Jessica Patterson and Madi WAITING for the school bell to ring, so they could go to their classroom, get instructions and get on the bus to CLEAR CREEK! All the other kids (that are NOT in 5th grade or are 5th graders and just went to Clear Creek) were saying, "Oh, you guys are SO LUCKY, I wish I was going!")

After arriving at Clear Creek, the kids awaited instructions for where we were going to bunking & where we'd be eating lunch.

After lunch we went to do the Ropes Course with Miss Mitchell. Madi doing the ropes course with Kenzie being her spotter.

Next we went to Mr. Goff's "Trust Building" course. Madi & Ari on the ropes-

The "Pot Gut Hut" girls-

That evening after s'mores, we enjoyed the skits the kids came up with. This one the "Pot Gut Hut" girls are performing is, "The Invisible Bench."

We played games, this one Madi's team was in a relay race where they had to blow up the balloon, pop it, read what the note inside the balloon told them to do.

This note asked Madi to eat some saltine crackers, & when she could, she needed to whistle "Twinkle, twinkle little star." Miss Mitchell taking a picture of Madi while TRYING to whistle.

That evening we had the kids get in their jammies, bring their sleeping bags & pillows for a movie, treats and popcorn. The movie, "The Little Rascals." Then back to our bunkhouse at 10 pm and bedtime and lights out were finally about 11:30.

First thing the next morning while packing up, I took my stuff outside to the minivan I drove up in. While doing so, me, a dad & some kids that were outside, heard the elk's calling. It was a Beautiful fall morning, nice clean and CRISP!

After packing, cleaning up and breakfast we had a little bit of time for some games before leaving just after lunch.


But before we left we had to take a Class picture.
