April 2015

In April we had the opportunity to go to St. George & stay in the Nunley's place- So we spent Easter evening down there searching for Easter eggs & had some fun- just a girls trip!

We went to see the new Cinderella movie too

We shopped, ate & did lots of fun things...but Sophi's favorite thing was probably this CHOCOLATE Cake!

Always looking to have some FUN with the girls
We checked out the Children's Museum of St. George & LOVED it!!!

We played at the Downtown St. George Splash pad that's right next to the museum.

We checked out the Fractured Prune Donut store, where you make & design your own donuts
We went to TARGET to shop & to play Cut the Pickle!
We hiked the Dixie Red Rocks, even when it was windy & that's NOT too fun-

We went to the Beautiful old Carousel in Downtown St. George next to the splash pad &
the Children's Museum.

The girls & I took a quick trip over to the St. George Temple to get a few pictures-

We went to Black Bear Diner for breakfast-dinner
Morgan did Bailey's hair

We had MANY dance parties with One Direction

We also went to the Tulip Festival with the Allen's
Todd & Tanner especially liked the Tulips

We fed the fishys

When the weatherman said "batten down the hatches," I didn't know he meant the trees too.

One day this Spring we had a GOOD hard wind storm & went outside to find one of our front trees had broken in the wind & fallen. Luckily it didn't fall on a car or a person while passing by.
We went as a family to see the last of Fast & Furious movies with Paul Walker in it.
Mike opened Madi's bedroom door one day KNOWING it was Messy & got a picture...Madi DOES NOT look happy about Mike taking this picture... at all!!!
For my 43rd Birthday I was treated well, with some of my favorites!
Cards, cookies, treats & family
I was also taken care of while at school too-

Daylight Donuts from Merilee, decorations & gift card for a pedicure
Some lotion & soap from Suzie
A smoothie gift card from Rachel, and one from Gma Paskett too. A Slurp gift card from Lisa Lystrup at work & some chocolate.

Bailey was asked to her PROM from a boy she met on Tinder, Jaylen. -STORY-
She ended up telling him that she appreciated him asking her, but with it being only a day or so away that it was too stressful & would prefer not going. She did say se wanted to go to the Payson Temple Open House that night that we had tickets too-

She did have him over a week or two later to our house to meet him. They played games, we ate pizza for dinner & they watched a movie- she then took him back to FrontRunner where she dropped him off.

For my Birthday I asked that we as a family go to the Payson Temple Open House that weekend- the Allen's ended up coming with us, however Tanner wasn't too interested in coming.

We had the opportunity to go to the Payson Temple Open House tonight & it was Stunningly Beautiful! My favorite things; the incredible wheat & apple blossom stained glass windows in which the blossoms grew from buds to full blown blossoms as you get higher & higher in the temple, and as you look upon the ceilings. And all the gorgeous artwork, from nature murals to the many large paintings of Jesus Christ's life. So grateful to have the opportunity to tour the temple on this delightfully (& much needed) rainy night.

So the last part of April, first part of May Bailey got a job working at JDawgs out at Thanksgiving Point-
It got a little bit stressful the first few weeks for Bailey, with Finals, School & starting a new job that she works 3 times a week some weeknights until 11 pm. But tanner gave her some good advice & to stick it out...she did & has done GREAT ever since! She loves having her own MONEY $ too-

But with working late comes SLEEPING after school too-

This is probably about the time Spice started getting really sick

We had decided to go for a drive one Saturday up to Logan to the Cheese Factory up there, & while up there, go to eat at Cafe Sabor for dinner too- it was a nice Saturday afternoon drive.

It rained all day, so there wasn't a lot to do around home too-

Can't do yard work today, so we went for a drive on this beautiful rainy Saturday afternoon to Logan 💦 checked out a few things along the way.... Gossner Cheese Factory, Peach Lemonade & lunch @ Cafe Sabor, lush & green canyon views, a few stores, and Fiiz Drinks on the way home. ✔

WHO said girls can't *Hold the Priesthood?!?!* My girls & I do it ALL the time!!!! 😜😝😂

I have *INCREDIBLY* talented kids...
