LP Soccer Team Banquet

Well, with Graduation and the hustle & bustle of the "End of the Year" activities for school, we haven't got all the pictures posted from the last couple of games, so until they are up I figure I will continue with what I DO have.

At the end of the High School Soccer Season the Coaches have us mom put together a Closing Banquet for the Boys & their families. This year with the crowd we had we ended up having it at the LP school cafeteria. And it did turn out pretty darn nice, even IF it was in the school cafeteria. We had Wallaby's cater the meal then we had the parents of the Freshman, Sophomore, & Junior boys bring a salad or dessert to share. 

 We were able to sit, visit and enjoy one anothers company. I would say it was a nice night but a night with HEAVY hearts. We had originally planned for this event to be on Friday, the night after the State Finals game, because we were PLANNING on being there. But, when we lost our game against Davis that all changed so they had suggested we move up the event 2 nights, from Friday to Wednesday.

 I absolutely LOVE Carlos! He loves pictures & WANTED his picture taken, and I hadn't realized it until everyone at the table said, "Brooke, Carlos wants his picture taken!!!" So this is what the boys gave me. Tanner being SO Serious was exactly what he wanted in this picture. What GOOF BALLS!!! Love 'em- 

We really had a GREAT turnout! The only boy who didn't come unfortunately was cute Nathan Henley & his family. This happened to be MY fault in a sense. I had sent the "new date" email out but had listed it was at 7pm, not 5-7pm. The Henley's read my email & not the email that went out 5 minutes after mine saying the correct time in RED highlights. I FELT awful when I found out it was semi due to my email they missed it. UGH!!! 

 These were poster-size pictures of the 8 SENIORS that were on the Soccer team.

 Tanner was lucky enough to grab the poster size picture of the team just below Coach Blaine in this picture.
Here Blaine has the Captain's up in front ready to hand out the boys Award Certificates. (This also in the picture is Kristin, Blaine's cute wife.) Coach Blaine, Landon Wilson, Kaden Killpack/goalie, Riley Hale.

 What a GREAT group of guys! Can't wait to see where life will take them- sooner maybe than later...

Missions, School, Playing at the Collegiate level, etc.

 The Berry family had just "Welcomed" their other son home from his mission from Ghana, just hours before this banquet.

 At the end of the night a video HIGHLIGHT reel of the boys season was played for these boys-
