Riverton @ LP- 4/27

Well no pics to share on this post. During the JV game Tanner was put in & within minutes had the ball, he was running down the line, right in front of us when a player from Riverton had his arm wrapped around Tanner's neck in a choke hold and was dragging  him down. As he was pulling Tanner down, Tanner swung around trying to get out of it & what looked like he took a SWING. Then the ref blew the whistle & pulled the Red Card out for both Tanner & the other player. So Tanner sat out the rest of that game & the next game, which was LEHI. (Not a good thing!) Later we found out that when Coach Matt spoke with the ref & was questioning WHY? Tanner got a red card also. The Coach from Riverton defended Tanner & told the ref that it WAS his player that had his arm around the LP player & his player should be the one who got the red card, not the other player. (Oh, well! Live and Learn, right?)  I sure *WISH* someone would've gotten pictures of this-   

LP Varsity Wins 2 to 0 vs Riverton

After the last game against Bingham, Coach Paskett was really frustrated and decided to change things up with the JV team. So in this game he started the boys playing in the reverse positions, Defense playing forwards and forwards playing defense.
