* giRL's cAmP 2010 too *

As leaders, we were asked to participate when we could- so we did. Sister Tara Higbee and I were asked to use each other as stability as we made our way across these wire ropes that grew further and further apart...let's just say, with both of us short in stature, we didn't make it far. It was really neat to see HOW they had us relate everything back to our lives, Heavenly Father and being there for one another.

This was called the "Trust Fall" where they had the group of girls on the edge of a cliff, over looking it all, then having you climb up on top of everyone and fall backwards- Trusting that the girls would be there for you! Bailey did AWESOME! It was so much FUN to be able to SEE Bailey at some of these challenges, & be there with her at Girls Camp!

One thing I was so excited to learn while at Girls Camp, was "BiG BooTy"- Here we were, playing with the Bishop!

On the day before the last day at camp, we had our BiG Hike...for the younger girls a 3 1/2 miler, for the older girls, it was 6 miles or so. But when we were all done, our Camp Leaders had set up "Emerald City Spa."

With a soaker tub for our feet, under shade canopies, with calming music playing in the background and YuMMy Fruit popcicles to Top it off!

It was Just what the Doctor ordered!

That night our YW President, Sister Swensen had prepared an Inspired Devotional on "Virtue", and the importance of our YW having it in these latter-days. Just as the sun was setting, she gave her devotional. The devotional was along the lines of Sister Dalton's talk she FIRST gave when she introduced the new value. She referred to the scripture Proverbs 31:10 Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. She gave us a pretend ruby to put on our YW Camp necklaces, and then asked us to sign the Virtue flag. It was a beautiful night-

Most all the girls who came to camp, a few were missing because they left early for various reasons.
