We helped move Tanner out, during the middle of our remodel...

And then we decided to PAINT the Kitchen too WHILE we were doing the rest of the remodel....

And we have our SHIPLAP wall (Mike's idea & it was a GOOD one!) & NEW Railing!!!

And the cable TV glitching that we experienced during the remodel...UGH!

The FIRST ROUND of stain they painted the railing...I didn't like it! It was too much of a red coloring...so I ran down to Sherwin Williams & tried to figure out another color, until I liked one-

Not sure Mike would've approved, had he'd known I asked them to repaint it! But I wanted to LOVE it & I didn't, & so the painter said do it until to like it- because its gotta last you a long time!

And some of the crappy work the painters did at times...we did have them come back & fix it

And forgetting to paint in some other places...& over spray...

Ordered slate for the wall are that we took down in the kitchen

And then it was MY TURN to fall in the tub/shower downstairs & bruised my leg...

And we have our NEW Quartz Countertops!!! No more tile countertops with grout! YAY!!!

And a week or so later... VERY TENDER

Another concert for Tanner & Taylor

While we had the remodel going on, we had some tree trimmers over too

& look what they showed me...a VERY LARGE Bee hive!

And then THIS happened in the basement after the Plumbing was installed- because of a defective fitting that was put in. Just VERY GRATEFUL we didn't have to pullout & redo our brand new master bathroom!

And then the marble guy came to install the shower walls etc & installed it wrong the first time. Instead of staggering it, he stacked the tile work. It wasn't until Mike pulled me in the bathroom to show me how good it looked that I noticed it & neither Mike or the guy did. He then had to get a piece RE CUT again but luckily they had some at the warehouse. And they had already broken the first piece on the drive in the back of the truck down to our house. With the pressure of the wind.

Otherwise it could've taken another 5 weeks!!!! UGH!!!
