On our trip to Arizona we decided to jump out & stretch our legs as we crossed over the bridge at Glen Canyon Dam. Just as we were to cross to the other side to look over the edge of the bridge, a large Semi truck crossed over when the bridge began to *SHaKe*, it sure made you STOP and THINK of what we were doing...then left-

But NOT before we stopped to take a minute for a PHOTO OPP! (ohhh, POOR Grandma!)

After a long drive, we arrived at my sister's Sara & her family's home in Mesa. We ate a very YuMMy dinner, then of course PLAYED! This is one game the kids 'played'-they'd take these bouncy balls hit them against their knees then have them bounce up to hit their faces, then back down to their knees again- over & over again. Yes, FUN Sunday activities! (After being a car for 10 1/2 hours you'll do anything! And that's JUST what Grandma Paskett did- I will try to post the side-splitting video of Grandma Paskett 'trying' to do as the grandkids did.

The weather was SO BEAUTIFUL we couldn't help but hang outside-

Tanner played this game OVER & OVER with Jacob...then he told us why?!? Jacob kept winning and Tanner wanted to win him just once! After an hour or so, he finally did.

CUTE cousins' (Bailey, Gracie & Anna)

Sunday late afternoon we arrived @ the Ray's, ate dinner, played games, visited & watched "The Blindside" (Grandma & I had only been able to 'listen' to the movie on our drive down, so we were happy when we could actually 'watch' & 'listen' to the movie at the same time. Monday we woke up, ate breakfast, played b-ball, played games, etc. Around noon we headed over to the hotel to check in and 'check in' @ the Swim Pool! YeaH!!! We swam all day and into the night, Kelly, Garrett & Averie arrived about 4 pm & jumped in the pool. Late Monday evening we picked up Digi, Day't and Amoray at the airport, and swam some more.

First thing after breakfast we headed to Camelback Mountain to hike the trail there called "Echo Canyon." You begin at the base of the Camel's face- you hike right up & over, near the "Monk" on Camelback. All the years we've been visiting the Scottsdale area, we've NEVER hiked Camelback. So this time- we DID! It is a Beautiful, enjoyable, workout of a hike and SO WORTH it! I would definitely recommend it!

And here we begin the hike...
