Tanner sent this meme to the Family group chat- it reminds him of when he was little & Dad would TRY to help him with his Math in Elementary school. HAHAHA

Madison started her NEW JOB at Via, with Bailey on Monday, September 9th 2019-
She has training for the next 3 weeks, but FIRST, because has insurance we got her an appointment for a colonoscopy...

So back in January, Madi had started complaining of stomach issues back in January, but with her Senior year of school & working a ton we didn't think much of it- thinking it might be nerves or anxiety from her Senior year etc. but it continued, so in May since Bailey & I were already seeing Dr Kelli Parker for my annual exam, so I made an appointment for Madi too, thinking it might be her menstrual cycle or women parts. So we got her on Birth Control to help regulate & minimize her periods and see if that would help the pains & pressure? A few weeks after her graduation trip, in July she still wasn't feeling well, so we got her an appointment to see Dr. Mower, our family doctor. He gave her an exam, then thought it could be IBS- so he put her on some medicine, then ran a few tests. H pylori breathing test, blood work, and then a week or so later she had an ultra sound.

Then in August she was still struggling with her stomach, so we headed back to Dr. Mower's office & he wasn't in, so we had another doctor that's in training & her Dr trainer. They ended having her take a urine sample, & gave her another kind of medicine, and wanted to her take a Hida-scan at Mountain Point Hospital. They had us do this test to check her gall bladder. All these different test were coming back normal- ultra sound, blood work, Hida-scan, & start a VERY STRICT DIET etc. The medicines didn't seem to help much either-

So they suggested to get an appointment to start seeing a GI Specialist. She was told to see Dr. Dickinson, in Provo but he was booked out quite far, so she took an appt with a Nurse Practitioner, Dr. Toller at the end of August. He ran blood work, Food allergy & Celiac Disease tests. She has a small intolerance to Wheat but that's it.

So, on Monday, September 9th Madi started her new job at Via, with Bailey- she first started training for 3 weeks, but was able to get insurance on day one of employment. So on Thursday, the 12th she had her first Colonoscopy & scope- everything came back pretty normal but she wasn't cleaned out all the way. She has some inflammation & results came back negative for Celiac or Crohns. Then in late September, 26th Dr Toller started her on some anti depressant medicines thinking that there is a nerve that runs from your brain to your stomach that might be sending false nerve readings & start that medicine to see if that would help reduce the sharp pain & continual pressure she has in her stomach. We set up another appt with Dr Toller in 6 weeks, & then another appt to get a 2nd opinion with Dr. Dickinson on December 20th. Madison continues to lose weight 5 lbs in last month & very tried all the time. The first anti depressant she was allergic too & was throwing it up, so they prescribed a different one that worked a lot better for her, but still wasn't helping too much with the pain/pressure.

Sunday, September 15th Tanner asked Anthony to come down to help him START his RX-7, its the only time they all could get together to do this- and Tanner needed Anthony's help for this, because he's rebuilt one & knows what he's doing on them.

It was a PRETTY exciting night! We had Tanner over for dinner, but he had been working on it all day, to get it ready to go so when Anthony arrived, they could tie up the ends & try to start it. But things weren't going that great, & Mike was out helping Tanner- so me & the girls ended up starting dinner without them. BUT before we did, we began with a PRAYER, & in my prayer, I had asked that Tanner had been working so hard on this for so LONG, to please help him get it started & know the things he needed to do, so that it would start- just after I ended my prayer, we HEARD him START the car!!! I was in tears, & when we told Tanner what had JUST HAPPENED, he couldn't believe it! It was AMAZING!!! and SO GRATEFUL for it to start- because it was becoming a real challenge to figure it all out! and frustrating too- It was an ANSWER to PRAYERS!!!

One weekend we ended up taking a drive up to Logan & Bear Lake- to get some Banana milk for Bailey & get some dinner at Cafe Sabor and some sweets at the Chocolate Bear Store. The leaves were just starting to turn colors- maybe a few more weeks & it would be a perfect drive.
