MAY 2017

So I've been keeping an eye out on KSL for a Siamese Tabby kitten and one finally came up,
so Madi & I drove down to Salem to see her in person-
This was the mommy cat, and reminded me a lot of Spice but with the longer fur.
Madi fell in LOVE instantly!!! and i wasn't far behind her...
So we got "HER"...
We called "her" kitty for a little while but eventually we came up with the name "Ivy"
This is a drawing Tanner made when he was little, & we've had up in Mike's office downstairs but more recently Tanner has been considering Construction as a career & it reminded me of this drawing we have. I LOVE it <3 br="" nbsp="">
Candlelight Homes took some of their employees fishing, Mike had a GREAT time &
even caught a FISH "this BiG"....
Gpa Paskett had cut down some trees earlier in the fall, & hadn't gotten around to cleaning them- so we decided as a family we could go help them take them to the green dump- Bikman's came over & helped some, Mike & the girls were a BiG help too! So grateful for their willingness to help!
And we all had a few battle wounds to prove it-
Madi loves drawing too
and this cute kitty, IVY!
SO HAPPY to have her driving...
Love you too Bailey Boo!
11 more school days... I'm always excited when we get some time off! & SUMMER is the BEST-
Headed with Bailey, Madi & Averie to ARIZONA for Dayton's Wedding!
When we arrived at our Air Bn'B, we couldn't get the alarm off! We were so nervous the police or the neighbors would be over to complain- it was around 7:30 at night right after we picked up our rental minivan, then went straight to the house. We tried EVERYTHING to get the alarm to stop, Bailey had a similar alarm at Ivory Ridge so she felt comfortable in how to operate it. But NOTHING worked! We called the owner & he called his Handyman -Fix It guy & he came over to help. We finally got it off but had to open the door to let him in. So it started beeping all over again. He finally just cut the wires, & that didn't seem to work for very long. Anyway, he finally got it off and earlier had heard a sound coming from under the sink, which had to do with the water system or something. It was QUITE the night- we didn't get to relax and finally go out to eat until like 10 pm that night. We ended up going to Chick-fil-a, where after sitting down to eat, we ended up talking to two VERY kind Policemen that were there eating. They were filling us all in on the Mesa/Gilbert crime, we were asking them questions (or so Averie began, which lead me into questions...) it was a really nice night. They even asked us about Utah, the Mormons etc. we also told them about the Lone Peak Police fb page- It was GREAT night had by all of us!
And we had some REALLY GOOD LaUgHs & sent out some funny snapchats that night...
The weather was Beautiful...maybe even a little too warm but we survived!
We swam at our pool at the house & again over at the Nunley's rental house at the BBQ
they had the night before the wedding-
We went to the Orange Patch TOO, since the original one was closed during this time of year-
We went SHOPPING...
ohh, and YES we went to the Wedding too at the Gilbert AZ Temple
One of the matrons inside the temple told me about the symbol that is everywhere in the Temple- the Agave plant- it grows up & out just like families- you start out with your family then, as you grow you branch out & have your own families.

and the Beautiful couple... and the Nunley family
Love this mom /grandma of mine!!!
the videos are the BEST though-
and MORE SHOPPING!!! and the bench Madi burnt her bum cheeks on...after telling her it would be HOT in the AZ Sun- she wasn't gonna listen to her mom-
I took the girls past Grandma Schneider's house, Camelback & Camelback Road
We went shopping at Fashion Square Mall in Scottsdale, AZ where there is A LOT of $$$
We ate at the Shake Shack, parked by some SWEET cars & even watched a guy drive down the parking ramp while he scratched his Tahoe- OUCH!
We drove through & walked around Old Scottsdale area & then met up for dinner
with everyone at Los Olivos-
And on Sunday morning we headed over to Sara & Spencer's for lunch and to hang out because we had check out at the house & before we headed back to the airport to come home.
This was Madi's FIRST airplane ride to & from AZ, and Bailey's second time (Origination)
For Gma Paskett's birthday she wanted to go up to the Poppy fields up at Lambert Park & take pictures with Rachel & her girls- it was a little frustrating but that story is for another time...
Madi passed her Floral Design test!
For Mike's parents 50th Wedding Anniversary we all met up at The Roof restaurant in SLC & then Bailey took pictures outside on Temple Square. It was FUN having Steph & Antonio here-
Yes, its true Bailey & Jordyn became a couple...
Some random photos from our time in Arizona
Well, so we THOUGHT...
And while we were away in AZ, Mike took his car out & got some REALLY SWEET pictures of it
