A cute note that was left on our door from our local Missionaries

Funny story behind these Missionaries- Elder Murphy is the newbie here in Alpine & had us believing he was from Australia originally then about 4 years ago moved to Mesa Arizona, & coming here to attend UVU after his mission and Elder Hamilton went along with his story. Then one Sunday, the missionaries come to give their testimonies in our ward, not knowing WE live in this ward, because the last time they spoke in our Ward we were in Oregon. So Elder Murphy says in the beginning that a funny story that they play on members is that Elder Murphy is from Australia, BUT its not really true!!! He's from Arizona & North Dakota! etc. etc. etc. Mike & Tanner weren't at church that Sunday, so we decided to fill them in at dinner that evening. They didn't believe it- that next weekend, Saturday night the Missionaries drop by to check and make sure dinner is still on for Monday night? We gave them a hard time...it was funny to see them squirm! So Monday night sure had some teasing & squirming- and it wasn't US! That was Monday, December 1st- We saw them once or twice more to sign in Elder Cole's & their mission journals, but then within days they BOTH were transferred out of the Alpine area because a new Orem Mission is being created. So we may have seen the last of them...
