February 20th, just happened to be on the Monday they celebrate President's Day. We had signed up to do flags for ward on this holiday because we wanted to get one of our two holidays done. So first thing in the morning we got Mike, Bailey & Tanner up and headed out to set up flags at 7 am & on a holiday, that is EARLY to wake up.
Then after getting back from doing that, Mike & Tanner went & set up Tanner getting a new phone, since he sold his old one. We had a nice but relaxing day- at 2 pm we headed as a whole family down to Tanner's Indoor Soccer game in Lindon where they won the Mighty Ducks (some boys from his Dynamo team) 9 to 7. But it was definitely a tough fight to win the game.
Then right after the game we headed up to Bailey's choice for her Birthday Dinner, which was Black Bear Diner in Sandy. We ALL ordered the Yummy Pancakes they have there & we definitely filled our tummies.

And the boys were back to playing on their phones, that was until Dinner came...or I mean breakfast/dinner came.
We had to hurry back to make up of the flags in time before it got too dark out. Madi really enjoys "helping" us do this...I keep telling her, just WAIT until you have to do it, then you won't be so excited. But that seems like how it usually works-
We each had our jobs, yes even me, but I had to get pictures of what we did on Mike's Birthday
And this was the "Birthday Boys" job, driving & following us up & down the street so we could put the flags & stakes in the car.
Mike was so excited to use his new popcorn maker but couldn't find any movies to watch that evening so we just watched tv and ate his yummy popcorn. These next few pictures are of Mike & Madi "posing" for pictures for me. Aren't they good actors/models?!?!
