"Bigger or Better Game"-
1- it was our 4th & last trade of the night (knowing it was a winner!) 2- it came from the home & husband of the opposing teams yw leader.
Mike took off up to a nice cabin in the Uintah Mountains along with his co-workers to go fishing & just hang out for a couple day. He had a GREAT time, said it was beautiful! And by the pictures, it looks like it-1- it was our 4th & last trade of the night (knowing it was a winner!) 2- it came from the home & husband of the opposing teams yw leader.

LOVE Alpine's Beautiful Fall Mountain colors
Madi has been taking the CTE class at school & Foods is what they're working on right now. They made Calazones, & with working on some recipes and project time for her PP in YW's, she has been helping me out in the kitchen with dinners lately. Which I REALLY enJOY!!!! During Fall Break we went up and went to lunch with Dad & went shopping for a few late Birthday gifts.
Mike got 4 tickets to the Utah vs USC football game, so Tanner took Carlos, Brad & Stacia- Great WiN!
Tanner has been going up to AF Canyon with Brad & Carlos lately, and taking pictures. This is one Amazing picture Tanner got-
October had some Nice Weather, so we took advantage of it & headed down to the Sand Dunes with our Razor 4 and the other 2 4 wheelers. We went to Sand Mountain & it was definitely busy-
So, just after arriving to the Sand Dunes we unloaded the toys and Mike asked us where we put the cooler with all our food & drinks in it?....we FORGOT it! Mike had just wanted to leave early this morning & get out the door so he didn't eat breakfast. We all were dying of thirst, but we survived- funny story!
I had made the lunch, packed the lunch, etc. while Tanner & Mike were packing up the truck, four wheelers, etc. I had set the cooler down, right next to the laundry door/pantry door. I walked out with the camera bag, and sat down on the steps to put on my boots. Everyone followed me out, grabbing NOTHING, and walking out the door. So we left...later to find out that NO ONE picked up the cooler on their way out the door. They had to walk right past it, but of course it was MY fault :0/
Tanner REALLY was LOVING it, and especially on Mike's quad...
and Bailey didn't mind the "riding" but she enJOYed the picture taking A LOT more!
We were not only starving after riding all day, not eating or having anything to drink. We stopped off in Eureka for a drink, but were definitely HUNGRY when we got to Cafe El Lago for dinner at about 4:30 pm
Mike's fb post- Had a great day riding today at Sand Mountain with the family. Showed them that the old man can still ride! Thanks for going with me kiddos, even if MOM did forget our lunch. —
My post on fb Sunday, October 21- So, last night during FHE I was giving the lesson on "The Gospel Blesses Families" when I was going through different paragraphs of the roles of the father & mother from the "Proclamation to the World" when I came to the mother's role and started reading & asked my family to fill in the blank- "___________ are primarily responsible for the nurture of their children." When BEFORE I even had a chance to finish the sentence Michael says, "Mothers are primarily responsible for making sure their lunch cooler is packed for their family trip to the Sand Dunes. That's it, that's ALL!."
Ummmm, gotta love him-LoSeR!!! (Right where I left it! ^^^ so we wouldn't miss it)
tgilly- I'm more ready than I've ever been before
Knowing Tanner was having his final Stake President's interview on Tuesday, October 22nd where he finalized his paperwork with him, and the paperwork would be forwarded to the Church Offices, we wanted to CeLeBraTe with him when he got home. And he loves these cookies from Slurp- he hoped ALL of them were for him. He was excited & figured it would be about 2 weeks before we received the white envelope.
My fb post October 23rd- So, last night after Tanner got home our family *CeLeBraTeD* with having his favorite pink frosted cookies from Slurp. Madison decided to save her cookie & placed it on the counter to eat today.
Well, today it came up MiSSiNG!!! She tells me she knows it was Tanner. So tonight I ask Tanner if he took her cookie? In which he replied, "the DeviL is real! & Yes, I took it! — with Cookie J-Monster.

Trying to get this all lined up to happen while Mike's parents are in town from their mission. (The Palmyra Temple is being cleaned for 2 weeks, so they came home to get their winter clothes, etc.)
tgilly- Now it's the waiting game. #2weeks Exciting time for all of us...& the guessing game began-
We had some beautiful weather in October, so we took advantage of it & headed up AF Canyon one Saturday. While Tanner went riding to the Sand Dunes with friends-
Beautiful scenery, at Forrest Lake up past Tibble Fork. We went up with Mike's boss & friends Bryan Flamm from Candlelight Homes. He has a Razor 4 also so Dad asked him to join us with his kids.
