In 4th grade the kids study Utah History, so we headed to Hutching's Museum in Lehi for Madi last field trip of the year. We learned about foods the native people ate, and animals that were common. It's a fun & interesting museum with a lot of UTAH history in it.
The kids loved the Bear and hanging out in the cave.
We learned about the birds and wildlife.
They even have a few REAL dinosaur bones, but they kids enjoyed seeing the fossilized dinosaur POOP even more!
After lunch at a fun park in Lehi, we then were off to Cabela's. Where we checked out the Wildlife room with all sorts of deer, moose, and small animals that were stuffed. Then up to the arcade area where the kids had one opportunity to SHOOT the animals. They loved it, but ONE chance was NOT enough for them. They had so much fun.
Then down to the fish aquarium where there's live trout/fish to watch-
