- the Night before Father's Day bbq -

So Mike's mom had set up a bbq for the family, the night before Father's Day this year. But we took it a few steps further & being as efficient as you know we are, we made it a party not only for Father's Day but Steph flew into town for a visit, and then some of us were unable to make it to Brian & Rebekah's baby shower a few weekends ago, so we had them open a few gifts. All in all we accomplished MUCH!

Tanner had the kids entertained, with some soccer-

he even tried to teach his younger cousin, Kolby how to do the "Rainbow"

Madi was able to HOLD Taz, Grandma's baby- if you ONLY knew, this dog DOES NOT LIKE KIDS!!!

We TRIED to keep the kids entertained with games...

but baby Kali was a BIGGER hit-

Megan and Madi still holding Taz

Playin' "Monkey in the Middle", a soccer game. The Gillett family is ALL ABOUT SoCCeR! There was a little bit of football toss, but definitely NOT the fav!

But before the night ended, the older men of the family NEEDED to test their limits and see if they could out race their younger, more active nephew, Tanner in races-

And then the younger kids stepped up to the line also. Overall, it was a GREAT night.

But if you are asking yourself, "Didn't you eat?" at this bbq, "Where's the opening up of baby gifts?", "where's the PROUD parents to be?", and "Where are ALL the people?"... Well, that's where I would say, we had uncooperative subjects that didn't want their pictures taken. (These were the best pictures anyway.) Until next time- ;0)
