A Visit with Aunt Shari

With my other Aunt Linda's funeral, I decided there's no time like the present to go and visit my cute Aunt Shari. My sister Digi, Uncle Merrill, Aunt Shari in the middle sporting the cute 'hair do', or maybe its a 'hair don't', me, and my other sister, Kelly.

We had a such a very wonderful visit with her and my Uncle. We laughed, we cried, we told her some funny & touching things that happened at the funeral the day before. She is such an INCREDIBLE woman, so strong through ALL she has been through. She is a Beautiful example of a STRONG & COURAGEOUS woman-

My Aunt Shari is one of the MOST BEAUTIFUL, and most PATIENT people I have ever known. Yes, this is the same Aunt & Uncle that the summer before last he, my Uncle Merrill had been rushed in for Emergency Brain surgery. Then she helped my Uncle come through all of that, and this past summer she was diagnosed with Lymphoma. Going through treatments, chemo, etc.

In January, after 6 chemo treatments, she had been having some real pain thinking the pain meds weren't helping but was FINALLY talked into going back to the doctors and found out that added pain she was suffering for 11 weeks was from a "BROKEN BACK!" So, with this new development and an incision that hadn't healed since August they stopped treatments and put her into a Rehab center, and has been there ever since. She IS SuperWoman!

As a fun side note: (meaning ever since I was little & understood I thought this was so cool!) The family tree- My Uncle Merrill & my Aunt Linda (who recently passed) are brother & sister. My Aunt Shari & Uncle Larry (who is married to my Aunt Linda) are brother and sister. So...some of my cousins (those under these Uncles & Aunts) are DOUBLE COUSINS to each other. And so like they say, "YES- it's all Legal!" You probably will now go back on my past few posts & see if you can see any resemblances. :0)
